Heretical opinions

Peter: “The difference between a good arabica and robusta is like between a light, fruity single malt and one that is peaty, heavy and smoky. Two different worlds, but both can be appreciated. And so it is here. Forget the ultra-fresh, juicy and citrusy brew. There are other, no less interesting craziness going on here.

More Geeky Stuff

crop location: 1300 m above sea level.

crop: 2022

importer: Coffee Grange

PRODUCER

The Kaweri station is owned by the Neumann Kaffe Gruppe and was established in the early 2000s to grow robusta. Coffee is grown practically at the latitude of the equator. Only canephora are grown here, so we are dealing with a specialized arrival!

TREATMENT

Additional selected yeast was added to the whole fruit to model the flavor profile. Maybe that’s where the logjam comes from?
