Peter: “I always wish the coffee that tasted like a million bucks a year ago would taste at least as good in this one. Sometimes it doesn’t work out, because the weather, because the harvest is different, because something is wrong. But this time we have it, Ladies and Gentlemen, La Fili’s magnificent profile enters in full swing. From floral, to fruit, some fermentation history, to caramel fullness. A miracle (black) honey!

Black honey or full honey. One could find yes to fourteen other terms used by producers in Costa Rica, leaving a thick layer of flesh on the grain. However, the most important thing is this: the Ure familyñand specializes in just this style of honey processing. They do not play with different thicknesses of layers – the flesh is always as much as possible, that is, resistively. It’s like having a friend at the camp canteen who will put twice as much jamor on you. The effect in the cup – plenty of depth, fruitiness and sweetness.
